Loving Your Motherhood

Description

What makes a great mother?

More importantly do you feel like one?

A loaded question, I know.

Though subject to scrutiny from family and friends, no one is harder on a mother than herself. This class will help you discover how God feels about you, and will guide you through the steps to embrace His opinion, so you can walk in the light of His radiant smile.

Demanding on every level spirit, soul, and body, motherhood tests a woman’s endurance and legitimacy. How are you holding up? Where do you go to refill your tank? How do you process the failures and disappointment? What metric do you use to make the hard decisions? This class will help you answer these and many other questions as it explores keys to fulfillment in motherhood.

Far from another parenting method, this class will not teach you how to make your children behave, but it will help you blossom into the beauty of motherhood. Through the process of self-discovery, you will see and celebrate the unique essence God wove into your identity. Through tangible intimacy encounters with God, you will plug into the ultimate source of abundance. And through the practice of kingdom conversion, the challenges of motherhood will become a badge of sonship.

Being a mother is hard work. Being a great one is even harder, but the rewards are sweet when your goal is fulfillment.

As a midwife it’s been my privilege to hold the hands of expectant mothers as they receive their crown of glory. I’ve cried and rejoiced with them through the ups and downs of the journey, but not until I faced the fire with my own children, did I truly know the beauty of motherhood. Picture Lady Wisdom at the dawn of creation standing by the elbow of the Master in the pinnacle of His genius. THAT is a picture of motherhood. It is an invitation to collaboration with God on His masterpiece. I’m honor to help women dress in the dignity fitting such a noble office.
