Traversing Marital Conflict (LS012)

God takes us down various paths in life for His purposes. Some of these paths are exciting and full of wonder while others are heart-wrenching as we find life going in a direction that does not meet our expectations. This can be especially true in marriage. What is God trying to teach us? In what way does He want us to grow? What is His plan for us in this Father-filtered journey?

Some find marital conflict consuming their thoughts and emotions as they become fixated on negatives. Some are angry with their spouse for not fulfilling expectations or they become frustrated over the inability to come up with solutions. Many cry out to God to fix their marriage issues. Why doesn’t He? Perhaps He has a different agenda for this season. As we work on marital issues, let’s also explore where the grace is flowing? What is going well in your life? Where are you experiencing success? Energy and attention can be refocused to follow the grace and not linger on the negatives.

If you are looking for new perspective and some tools for your bumpy marriage season, come join us! This is not a “Ten Easy Steps to a Happy Marriage” course, but one that will help you implement adjustments to your attitudes and expectations as well as behaviors in an effort to lead a more God-focused, productive life.

I invite both men and women to join in this journey.

Before registering for the course, please email me at and provide a short description of your situation so we can determine if it is a good fit for you.

This course consists of four classes and two private coaching sessions.

Course Instructor
Sandy Brannon

I have been on a 55-year journey called marriage with ups and downs like many of you. Our journey has included some of the usual things like children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with lots of moves, illness and providing care for grandparents over 20 years. Although there is much love and joy, there have also been serious issues of disagreement to work through. During this journey, God has met me with important lessons which have brought dramatic change. I would be happy to walk with you and give my encouragement as you seek God for your own changes.
